Controlled Chaos with American Ink!

Carrying onward with our recent covering of youth hard rock and heavy metal bands, we have a group that will take you back to the glory days of bands like My Chemical Romance and the entire emo-rock scene. This band is none other than American Ink! Comprised of lead singer/guitarist Michael Romano, bassist Aidan Crotty, and drummer Nick Fauza, American Ink hails from the Boston area. Formed in late 2017, American Ink soon developed a sound that combines the grit of relentless and energetic punk rock with the thought-provoking lyrics and melody of pop-punk. We at NE Underground Rockworld have been fortunate enough to witness the controlled chaos that is an American Ink live performance at Faneuil Hall. The band has incredible stage presence and never fails to electrify their audience with their outstanding blend of madness and melody. In early 2019, American Ink released their debut EP titled “Hand-Drawn Hearts” which features five hard-hitting tracks including the ever so chaotic “God Hates the Damned” and the high-speed “Moving to Philly”. Not long after that, the band proceeded to release their follow-up album titled “Please Forget You Knew my Name”, which features another eight hard-rocking tracks including the incredible “Ceaseless”. Both of these releases have garnered much attention in the local New England hard rock scene, rewarding them multiple performance opportunities as a result. While many of the bands anticipated live performances have been put on hold due to circumstances surrounding Covid-19, American Ink hopes to soon take the stage once again and play both of their releases front to back for any fans who are willing to listen!
